Print method
Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing using water-based inks that bond to the fabric fibers. Full-color, photographic quality — printed in-house at our Sarasota studio, not outsourced.
Production time
DTG orders are produced in 3–5 business days after proof approval. We email your digital proof first — production only starts once you approve it.
Proof process
We create a digital proof of your artwork on the garment and email it to you before any production starts. You approve it — or request changes — before we touch the press.
Care
Machine wash cold, inside out on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or dry clean. Washing inside out preserves DTG print quality over the long term.

What garment brands do you use?
We source blanks from Bella+Canvas, Next Level, and Gildan depending on the product and style. Each product listing notes the specific brand and blend in the size chart. All blanks are chosen for consistent print quality and comfortable wear.
What is the difference between DTG and embroidery?
DTG (direct-to-garment) printing applies water-based ink directly to the fabric — it handles full-color, photographic designs and gradients. Embroidery uses thread stitched into the fabric — it is more durable, has a premium tactile feel, and works best for logos with bold shapes and limited colors. DTG is ideal for detailed multi-color artwork; embroidery is ideal for caps, structured branding, and long-wear items.
What file format should I send for artwork?
We accept PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, PDF, AI, and EPS files up to 50 MB through the Uploadery tool. For DTG, 300 DPI raster files or vector files at final print size give the best results. For embroidery, vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) are preferred — they allow us to accurately count stitches and match thread colors. If your file is not print-ready, we will let you know before building your proof.
How long does it take to receive my proof?
We typically send proofs within 1–2 business days of receiving your order. If your artwork needs adjustment or we have a question, we reach out first. Proof turnaround can vary by volume — contact us before ordering if you have a hard deadline.
How long does production take?
DTG orders are produced in 3–5 business days after proof approval. Embroidery orders are produced in 5–10 business days after proof approval. Production does not begin until you approve your proof.
How should I wash my garment?
DTG printed garments: machine wash cold, inside out on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or dry clean. Washing inside out extends the life of the print.

Can I reorder a previous design?
Yes. Email us at info@thestickery.com with your order number or the design name and we can pull up your previous specs. Reorders are straightforward — you may still receive a proof if garment or color availability has changed.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No minimum order is required. You can order as few as one garment. Per-unit pricing is better at higher quantities — pricing updates live in the product options as you adjust quantity.
